My client is a global financial institution committed to providing risk management solutions to clients worldwide. As part of their continuous improvement efforts, they are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to lead the Windows migration project.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute the migration of Windows operating systems to the latest version across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure a smooth transition.
• Provide technical expertise and support in deploying the new Windows version on desktops and laptops.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the migration process.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Document migration processes, configurations, and updates for future reference.
• Train end-users on new features and functionalities of the updated Windows version.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in Windows operating system migrations to the latest version.
• Strong technical skills in desktop engineering and deployment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Certification in Windows operating systems is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in a corporate IT environment, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
